Roadaviator nominated for Liebster Award
Finally, my long wait is over. I am feeling grateful to announce that I have received the Liebster award 2017. I would like to thank my fellow blogger cum friend Sapna Agrawal for nominating me for this award. She is the one who always admires my work and I feel honoured to be nominated by her.
Telling about the blogger who nominated me:
I would like to express sheer gratitude to “Sapna Agrawal“, a renowned Indian blogger who loves to write about travel, food and fitness. Have a look at her simple but highly influential blogs on “Travelfoodnfitness“. And also, you can connect with her on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
I would again thank her for nominating me for Liebster awards.
Brief about Liebster awards:
Liebster awards are the online awards given to the blogger by another blogger. Liebster awards is a recognition of their contribution to the world of bloggers. In my case, it is in the world of travel-bloggers. Also, I love the idea of awarding blogger with this award because it not only increases the reach of bloggers but also motivate them to write more interesting stories.
My answers to the questions asked by Sapna:
Q.1. Where was your first destination?
Ans: If I talk about my first ever destination then it was a short excursion to Amargarh (near Bhopal).
Q.2. What has inspired you to travel?
Ans: I have three answers to this question. First and foremost thing is the nature. Whenever I visit any destination, it is the nature (mountains/beaches/jungles/lakes/landscapes) who inspires me to explore more.
The second one is my camera. From the day I started clicking snaps my travel journey has started. I have collected a load of travel memories with me.
My third inspiration is the stories that I gain from my travel and for the travel. Different people and blogs that I encounter, inspire me to travel more. People like Sapna Agrawal and her travel blogs inspires me to travel.
Q.3. Have you ever tried travelling solo, if yes, then where??
Ans: Yes of course. I love to travel solo. Some of my solo travel includes destinations like Udaipur, Jaipur, Delhi, Mumbai and many more. I keep on going to short excursions also. In-fact, with the time I am transforming from family traveller to solo traveller.
Q.4. Which one is your favourite travel destination and how many times you have visited there?
Ans: That’s a tough question. Considering any single destination to be my favourite one is difficult for me. My favourite destination is Sikkim. However, I have visited it only once but it got tattooed on my head. Looking forward to visiting it soon.
Q.5. What type of traveller are you- backpacker, luxury, destination, or any other?
Ans: I am a backpacker and destination traveller preferably. However, I also consider myself as weekender and thrill seeker.
Q.6. What is your travel bucket list for coming years?
Ans: My travel bucket-list include: Jaisalmer, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Goa and Sikkim for the coming year. While in the future I am seeing forward to trip some international destinations also.
Q.7. What is your favourite mode of transportation to travel and why?
Ans: Trains are my favourite mode of transportation between the cities. Because my eyes stucks out of the window to watch train passing different stations, farms and natural environment. Also, at times, I had great conversations with my fellow passengers. And when it comes to travel locally I prefer walking down the streets to gain in-depth knowledge of the destination.
Q.8. A place you always wanted to go and whether able to go there or not?
Ans: Earlier I used to dream about visiting Kashmir. And I had successfully made this trip 2 years back.
Q.9. If you could live elsewhere, where would you live? Why?
Ans: I would be living in Himalayas (especially Himachal Pradesh) because I always want to live close to nature and in pollution free atmosphere. Landscapes, snow-capped mountains and rivers attract me a lot. Also, many short trekking excursions are possible there.
Q.10. What is your most memorable trip that you’ve had?
Ans: It is again a great question to select a most memorable trip out of my travel. I would select two memorable destinations for this question. First one is Kashmir as a most memorable family destination and the second one is Udaipur in terms of a solo travel destination.
